"Fatal Crash - Whangarei District - Northland"
Fatal Crash SH1 Otaika, Whangarei District Emergency Services are attending a fatal motor vehicle crash between a car
and a truck at Otaika about 6 km south of Whangarei on SH1. The crash occurred at about 1230pm. The road will be closed
for several hours to enable a diesel spill to be cleaned up, vehicle removal and Police Serious Crash to carry out a
scene examination. Diversions are in place. There will be significant delays in the area and motorists are asked to
delay travel or take alternative routes.
