Investigations continue into fatal house fire in Linwood area of Christchurch
A joint Canterbury Police and Fire Service investigation into the fatal fire on Woodhouse St yesterday (20 November 2014) is continuing today.
The death has been referred to the Coroner and a post mortem has been conducted this morning.
Police and Fire Service investigators are continuing their scene examination today and this is likely to continue into tomorrow.
At this stage Police investigations have not revealed anything overtly suspicious about the fatality.
Police will not release any further information until the formal identification process has been completed.
