Aggravated Robbery in Phillipstown
Christchurch Police are appealing for information relating to the Aggravated Robbery of the Phillipstown Post Shop and Pharmacy on Ferry Road at 12:55 pm today (Friday 3 October 2014).
A lone male offender has approached a female staff member, presented a knife and demanded money. Cash was given to the offender and he left the shop on foot. It is not known which direction he walked in when he left the pharmacy.
The person of interest is described as a male Caucasian, stocky build, approximately 5'8" (172cm) in height, clean-shaven with a round face and wearing a red and black Swanndri branded check jacket over dark coloured jeans.
Police ask anyone who can help identify the person of interest or were in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact Christchurch Police on 03 363 7400.
