Waikato Property Awards Nominations Announced

Nominations for Waikato’s highly anticipated property industry awards have been announced.

“We Are Waikato” is Property Council Waikato Branch’s annual event where outstanding contributions to the region’s built environment are celebrated.

The awards recognise the people behind Waikato’s buildings and developments.

Graham Dwyer, who sits on the judging panel, says the quality of participants tends to climb every year.

"The ever improving calibre of the nominations has made it even harder than previous years to decide on one winner. This is a clear reflection of the high standard of development occurring in the Waikato and the type of people making it happen.”

The event will be held on 16 October at Wintec House. There are seven awards which include Judges Choice Award recognising people’s exceptional contributions to Waikato’s urban landscape.

This year’s event will host a record number of guests, a manifestation of the high interest in the industry.

“The Waikato property industry is strongly supported, making the future exciting and one to be a part of and hopes that the awards are just part of the recognition to those that are outstanding."
