Victim named in fatal crash on SH79

Police have released the name of the female passenger in relation to the tragic fatal head-on crash on SH79, the Geraldine-Fairlie Highway, on Tuesday.
King Wai VIP, a 66 year old Hong Kong national, was travelling with family at the time of the crash.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them on 03 363 7400.
