Auckland’s skyline glows pink this October
From 1 October the Sky Tower will glow for pink for the entire month in support of Breast Cancer month.
In New Zealand, one in nine women will develop breast cancer over their lifetime. The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation encourages women to know all the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and to report any changes to their doctor.
The Sky Tower is the southern hemisphere’s tallest man-made structure, and has become an iconic part of Auckland’s cityscape.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower to show support for a number of organisations and special events, often for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, or to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations.
