Free Roman blinds now installed free, October only
Palmerston North City Council’s eco design advisor, Nelson Lebo, is offering to deliver and install Roman blinds from the Red Cross Curtain Bank (26B Domain Street) free of charge during the month of October.
Nelson says the offer is applicable for kitchen windows only and the blinds are free.
“One area where insulation is often overlooked is windows over kitchen benches, and we can help in the form of Roman blinds.
“Every window in a home without a properly fitted curtain or insulating blind is basically a hole in the wall letting out heat,” says Nelson.
“Every day I see large windows over the kitchen bench with nothing slowing the loss of heat. Over the kitchen bench is a perfect location for a Roman blind.”
The free offer applies to Roman blinds only and the blinds are available in a variety of sizes and colours.
The council’s Eco Design Advisory Service is a free service to residents of Palmerston North. Nelson can provide you with advice and tips to help make your home warmer and drier, and save you money both now and in the long term with affordable changes.
