Don’t miss Hutt City’s Discovery Day on Sunday 12 October

Whether you’re arty, sporty and young or old there’s something for everybody at Hutt City’s family friendly Discovery Day event.

Discovery Day runs from 10am-4pm on Sunday 12 October.

Mayor Ray Wallace says, “We’ve got great places in Hutt City and this event is about showcasing them. We’re offering locals a chance to check out a range of local sites and activities for little cost or in most cases for free.”

There’s also a chance for people to meet and talk to councillors at Dowse Square where there will be a free sausage sizzle and more activities for kids.

Participants will have a chance to win some great prizes including travel vouchers. They will be given a Discovery Day map to take along to the places they visit to get it signed. Once they visit three locations they’ll go in the draw to win.

Discovery Day runs from 10am-4pm on Sunday 12 October.
