Search Warrant executed in Christchurch
As part of a month-long focus on Unlawful Taking this month, Canterbury Police executed a search warrant at a property in Marshlands just after 9am this morning locating a stolen vehicle and cannabis plants.
Police had located a stolen vehicle at another property earlier in the week and investigations led them to a second address where another stolen vehicle was found. Further investigations yesterday resulted in a search warrant for the third property in Marshlands where officers located another stolen vehicle and also a number of cannabis plants in a hidden hydroponics setup.
Police urge the public to take precautions when leaving their vehicles unattended by locking their vehicles, taking valuables with them and consider other options before parking in non-secured areas for extended periods of time.
