Thursday, 18 September 2014 - 11:40am
North Shore Police are seeking witnesses to a fight at the North Shore Event Centre on Monday night.
The fight happened in the carpark at around 9pm, between two men who had been watching a children's basketball game.
Police believe the men had been involved in a road rage incident earlier that night, on their way to the Event Centre.
One of the men was left with facial injuries following the fight, the other was uninjured.
Police would like to hear from any witnesses who saw what took place. One of the men was driving a red 4-door Holden Commodore, the other was in a silver 4 wheel-drive Toyota Highlander. At the time of the fight the two cars were parked next to each other.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable David Cooper on 09 477 5000 or email david.cooper@police.govt.nz (link sends e-mail)
Information can also be given anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
