Police seek missing teenager

At about 7:00 pm (17/09/2014) a thriteen year old girl was found to be missing from her home in Silkwood Lane, Melville, Hamilton. Although tall for her age she has an intellectual age of 8 years.

She has dark brown curly hair. She is wearing multi coloured pyjama pants with a heart pattern, and a pink hoodie with the work "Washington" on the front. She is known to enjoy going to the public library in Hamilton City and to Waikato Hospital.

A member of the publlic reported seeing a person fitting her description outside Melville Park at 1:00am. Police are still searching for her. Any sightings please contact the police without delay.
