10 years of trading and better than ever!
This coming Saturday 6th September the Lyttelton Farmers Market will celebrate its 9th Birthday meaning it has been trading for 10 years! Come and join in the celebrations and help sing happy birthday to a much loved market.
Our annual Kids baking competition will be on – so get the kids in the kitchen and bring their creations to the info stall by 11.30 am to be in with a chance to win some great prizes including Family passes to Quail Island from our generous sponsor Black Cat Cruises.
Lots of fun for all the family including: a make a father’s day card craft stand, face painting, and bouncy castle. Our local Lyttelton Kids First Kindergarten will be running the bouncy castle as a fundraiser so drop a gold coin in the pot and let the kids bounce away!
Entertainment will be from acclaimed local musician Carmel Courtney and friends, with some surprise guests adding to the fun!
Don’t miss a day of Lyttelton at its best! And don’t forget that on London st you will also be perfectly placed to find the right Father’s Day gift at one of our wonderful local shops.
Project Lyttelton was founded in 1994 to work on the Main Street Project. In 2003 the group changed direction and set about creating a collective vision of the future. The not-for-profit charity organisation now drives such community projects as: Lyttelton Farmers Market, The Garage Sale, Lyttelton Timebank, Lyttelton Community Gardens, Festivals and Events, Lyttelton News, LIFT Library, Grow Harbour Kids, Harbour Resilience.
