West Coast Police are seeking information from the public following a robbery at a dairy in Blaketown on Friday evening.
About 7pm a male came into the shop and threatened the shop keeper with what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money.
He left with some cash and cigarettes.
The offender is described as dark skinned, about 5ft 6in tall and wearing a black hoodie, black track pants and dark shoes.
He had a short beard.
Anyone who was in the Blaketown area on Friday evening and saw someone fitting this description or anyone who has information that may be relevant to this investigation should contact Greymouth Police, Ph 7681600.
