Whanganui Police have now located and arrested a man in relation to a call made to police yesterday about a person on Churton School property allegedly carrying a firearm.
A 48-year-old Whanganui man was arrested yesterday afternoon after making the hoax call.
He has been charged with criminal nuisance and will appear in the Whanganui District Court today.
