Port Hills GNS Science report findings to be released
Today, Christchurch City Council will release GNS Science reports that detail the level of risk in eight mass movement (landslide) areas in the Port Hills.
These new reports follows the first GNS Science mass movement report released in November 2013, assessing the nature of the hazards and if these hazards pose a risk to life, homes and critical infrastructure.
The Council commissioned the reports in response to the 2010/2011 Canterbury Earthquakes.
The Council will not be making further comment until after the reports are released.
