Richard McGrath elected to Napier City Council
Napier nurse Richard McGrath admits he was slightly stunned by news he is Napier’s newest city councillor.
“With nine people in the running it was a bit of a lolly scramble, so I didn’t know what to expect."
Mr McGrath received 3385 votes. The next highest polling candidate was Rob Duckworth with 2527.*
Mr McGrath, a father of two young boys, said he was a proud Napier resident and he was looking forward to being on Council and playing a part in the future of the city.
