Crash victim dies

Police investigating a crash that happened at 2pm on Thursday July 31 on Pah Rd, Epsom, want to hear from any witnesses to it.
An 88 year-old female pedestrian was struck by a 2012 red Toyota Camry hybrid which was operating as a taxi, just south of the Orakau Ave intersection.
She died in Auckland Hospital on Tuesday, August 5.
The vehicle that hit her was travelling south at the time of the crash.
The driver is assisting Police with inquiries but Constable Gareth Davis of
the Auckland City District Serious Crash Unit would like to hear from anyone
with information about the incident on 09 359 3116.
