Hutt Valley Police are searching for Jonathan Joshua ANTIPAS, 24, who Police believe may be holding Kyrstin WICHMAN, against her will. It is also possible that their five year old son is with them.
Yesterday ANTIPAS is alleged to have unlawfully entered a property in Upper Hutt with a firearm trying to find Kyrstin. She was not at the address and has subsequently disappeared. Police have fears for her safety due to his agitated state and access to firearms.
A warrant to arrest has now been issued for breach of release conditions. It is possible that ANTIPAS is driving a silver 1994 Mazda Familia, registration YO8633. He is, however, forbidden to drive so should not be driving this or any other vehicle.
Anyone who see ANTIPAS or the silver Mazda should contact Police immediately. He should not be approached. Anyone with any information can contact the Wellington District Crime Squad on (04) 381 2077. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
