Steamers set to storm Bayfair this Sunday!
As we near the tail-end of the Football World Cup and revel in what can only be described as a crushing Brazilian
defeat, the people of the Bay can celebrate the fact their favourite team of a different sporting code will be hosting
skills sessions for their biggest fans all of next week!
Starting from Sunday 13 July at 10:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00 – 3:00pm, the Bay of Plenty Steamers begin their week – long
stint of training sessions at Bayfair Shopping Centre. The team will be in-centre to provide local school students rugby
tips and talk about life as a rugby player. The region’s biggest fans will be able to get signed photos and take
“selfies” with their favourite players, and Bayfair Shopping Centre is offering free autograph books to those who
participate in the skills sessions.
