Mercury Bay Holiday Park Wins Big
Congratulations to Helena and Craig Stratford who won this year’s AA Traveller Spirit of Hospitality Award, at the Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand (HAPNZ) Conference in Blenheim.
Holiday Parks Association New Zealand (HAPNZ) Chief Executive Fergus Brown says the AA Traveller Spirit of Hospitality Award is recognised by HAPNZ members as the premium award."This award emphasises the importance of world class customer service and acknowledges those who are providing their guests with an exceptional experience."
Hadley Dryden, Manager of Destination Coromandel, acknowledges the hard work, commitment and dedication to the industry that both Helena and Craig have given, along with so many of the other tourism operators on The Coromandel. "It is people like Helena, Craig and their team that deliver on the good for your soul proposition that is promoted to our key markets. This is a fantastic endorsement for the service and experience they provide to their visitors."
Mercury Bay Holiday Park were among 50 entrants with Bowentown Beach Holiday Park in Waihi also featuring in the finals. Congratulations must also go to Coromandel Top Ten Holiday Park who won an award from PGG Wrightson Turf Care for best presented Holiday Park in New Zealand.
