MTG Hawke’s Bay entry charge to reduce from tomorrow
Napier City Council has approved today, a reduction in the entry price for visitors to MTG Hawke’s Bay. The new prices will be effective from tomorrow, Thursday 19 June 2014.
Adults will now be charged $10.00; students with current ID, seniors 65+ and community service card holders $7.50; groups of 10 + $8.00. Entry will remain free for MTG Friends and children under 15.
“The Council has listened to feedback from the community regarding pricing” said MTG Hawke’s Bay Director Douglas Lloyd Jenkins.
Douglas goes on to say, “the new price is the same as the entry fee for the old Hawke’s Bay Museum & Art Gallery, which visitors seemd to accept as good value for money and now it gets them into a vastly enlarged facility”.
$10 now gets you in to see a changing programme of Hawke's Bay history, art, design and taonga Maori exhibitions.
