Naenae Pool to open again on Monday 7 July
Naenae Pool will open again at 6am on Monday 7 July.
The Pool has been closed since May following a major tile failure during routine maintenance; they have now been replaced.
With the opening date now set contact is being made with schools, groups and individuals who use the pool to let them know the new opening date. People who take classes run by external providers like Hutt Water Polo or Swimzone lessons should contact them directly to make arrangements.
To celebrate the opening of the pool there will be a party afternoon on Saturday 12 July. From 12noon – 4pm all pool entries will be free; this includes free entry to the Funzone (until 3.30pm) with the Zoomtube, inflatables and aqua run.
During the week free Liquid Fitness (aqua aerobics) classes will run on Tuesday 8 July(7pm - 7.45pm) and Thursday 10 July (6.45pm - 7.30pm).
People can also take free low impact Nifties classes (aqua aerobics) on Tuesday 8 July, Wednesday 9 July and Friday 11 July from 9.30 - 10.30am.
