Sustainability Trust is hosting four upcoming public workshops around Wellington.

All workshops are free, but koha to Sustainability Trust is always appreciated. Please see the details for each of the workshops below.

Friday June 20th at Miramar Community Centre at 10:30 am
My Home, My Eco-Castle Workshop
Description: Learn handy ways to save money and help the environment in this fun, family focused workshop.
Sustainability Trust’s team will share smart techniques for keeping your home warm and dry, reducing waste and energy costs, using reusable nappies, making washing powder, and other tips for saving money, while being kind to the planet.
All participants get a free eco-bulb!

Thursday July 10th at Tawa Library at 6:00pm
Healthy Homes, Healthy People Workshop
Come to this inspiring evening workshop and learn how to:

-Reduce power bills while keeping warm
-Stop draughts, mould and damp
-Choose the heater that’s right for you
-Better insulate your home on the cheap

Thursday July 17th at Karori Library at 6:30pm
Mini worm farm workshop for kids
Together, we’ll take a close-up look at how worms can turn our food scraps into useful compost, and learn how to build our very own mini-worm farm.
So come along and get friendly with worms!
