1. Eat fish, the quintessential kiwi dish & savour the honest taste
2. Learn how to fillet & best preparation methods for fresh fish
3. Hear about Kapiti fish varieties & availability
4. Be delighted by good honest fishy treats done uniquely Kapiti style
5. Relax & enjoy the taste of fabulous fish in a picturesque location

Local fishermen have been chosen to demonstrate the art of identifying fish, filleting and preparation. Artel Gallery of Waikanae has been chosen to theme the venue and BCE Catering Equipment will be sharpening its knives with a demonstration on the day. Jeanine van Kradenburg of PartyPerfect says “that local Kapiti fish will be the hero of the day along with other locally sourced products.” She is planning a traditional yet creative lunch menu that she beleives will have everyone savouring the freshness of fish and wanting more.

Helene Judge of Kapiti Business Projects is thrilled that Ocean to Table Kapiti Style has been chosen to once again be part of the 2014 Visa Wellington on a Plate festival. “This event brings together many excellent local businesses to create a unique and special day out” says Helene.
