Latest Round of Grants Announced
Dunedin (Friday, 30 May 2014) – More than $200,000 has been allocated to a wide range of groups and organisations following the
Dunedin City Council’s latest funding round.
DCC Community Advisor Paul Coffey says the Grants Subcommittee last week allocated funds totalling $212,364 to 87
organisations and groups from the community, recreation, youth, arts, cultural, heritage and events sectors.
The Grants Subcommittee, which has a membership of Councillors and community representatives, made the decisions for the
March 2014 funding round at its meeting last week.
The first funding round for the 2014/15 year closes at 5pm on Friday, 26 September. Application forms will be available
from early August, either through the DCC website – www.dunedin.govt.nz – or at the Civic Centre, or by phoning 03 477 4000.
