Public transport options to watch All Whites international at Mt Smart Stadium

The All Whites are back in Auckland for the first time since 2012, taking on South Africa at Mt Smart Stadium.

Travel to see the All Whites play on Friday 30 May with a pre-purchased match ticket. Kick-off is at 7.30pm, and gates open 6pm.

Auckland’s motorways and roads are expected to be busy as Aucklanders make their way out of town for the long Queens Birthday weekend. Travelling by public transport to the game is the recommended option, travel on trains and the Northern Express is included with your match ticket.

For more information on how to get to Mt Smart Stadium and for timetables go online to https://at.govt.nz/bus-train-ferry/events/all-whites-vs-south-africa/ or phone 09 366 6400 to speak to our AT Contact Centre team.

Travel on the Northern Express buses to and from the city centre is included with your pre-purchased game ticket.
Once the Northern Express arrives in the city you can easily change to a train at Britomart for Penrose Station, which is a short walk to Mt Smart Stadium.
Plan your travel early and keep your ticket for the return trip.
Regular bus services will operate as usual.

Trains:
Travel on trains up to three hours before the game starts and until the last train of the day by presenting your pre-purchased event ticket.
Additional trains will operate to Penrose Station, which is walking distance to the stadium.
Train services will be busy so plan ahead and travel early.
