Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ara Whanui visists zoo

The Warehouse Wellington Zoofari welcomes Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ara Whanui
25 students from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ara Whanui in Lower Hutt will visit Wellington Zoo at 11am on Wednesday 28 May as part of the Warehouse Wellington Zoofari programme.
The Warehouse Zoofari is a partnership between Wellington Zoo and The Warehouse that helps local low-decile schools experience conservation-based learning programmes at the Zoo.
The Warehouse’s Wellington region stores raised over $25,000 in December to assist with the costs of learning sessions at Wellington Zoo. Schools from around the Wellington region were invited to apply, and 16 schools will visit the Zoo as part of the 2014 programme.
Full list of schools participating in the 2014 Warehouse Wellington Zoofari programme: Kahurangi School and St Anne’s School from Wellington City; St Michael’s School, Pukeatua Primary and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ara Whanui from Lower Hutt; Porirua East School, Cannons Creek School, Maraeroa School, Russell School, Titahi Bay School, Titahi Bay North School, Rangikura School, Corinna School, Brandon Intermediate and Glenview School from Porirua; and Ōtaki School.
