Ellerslie International Flower Show
A report on the Ellerslie International Flower Show will be considered at an extraordinary Community Committee meeting on Monday 19 May.
The report on the 2014 show projects a draft financial loss of $516,000.
Staff are presenting a range of options about the long-term future of the Ellerslie International Flower Show.
All these options recommend some form of change, alongside steps to address the financial risk of delivering the event.
The Council will be making a decision on the show’s long-term future at the public excluded section of the meeting on Thursday 22 May. Details of the Council’s decision will be released 72 hours after the decision is made due to commercial sensitivity around the options.
The public report is available today on the Council’s website at www.ccc.govt.nz
