Arrests in relation to five aggravated robberies

Counties Manukau Police have arrested and charged two men in relation to five aggravated robberies committed over the past ten days.

The first robbery was at Mobil on Apirana Ave, Glen Innes on Good Friday. The second was Mobil on Mt Wellington Rd on 23 April and the third at Caltex in Penrose on 24 April.

The two men, aged 21 and 22, were arrested following the fourth and fifth robberies which occurred at Mobil and Country Fried Chicken Store on Massey Rd, Mangere early on Sunday 27 April.

They will appear in Manukau District Court today.

Enquires into the five aggravated robberies are are continuing. Police still wish to locate 17 year old Breyarn Hose who has outstanding arrest warrants but he is no longer a person of interest in relation to the robberies.
