SCIRT update – Easter weekend 2014
SCIRT update – Easter weekend 2014
SCIRT work sites will close over the Easter break, but traffic management will remain in place around sites and equipment.
Please bear in mind the next two weeks are the school holidays so watch out for cyclists and pedestrians. Major routes should be less congested as a result.

New
work after Easter/ before Anzac
weekend
Innes Road, Mairehau, one way
Tuesday
Innes Road will be one-way, towards
Hills Road, between Nancy and Kensington Aves next week,
Tuesday, 22 April, for a day or so, depending on the
weather. Traffic coming towards Cranford St will be
detoured onto Philpotts Road, Knowles St, Nancy Ave and back
onto Innes Road. http://strongerchristchurch.govt.nz/work/activity/4698
Bealey
Ave at Manchester St, one lane Thursday
Bealey
Ave will be one lane only at the Manchester St intersection
for eastbound drivers on Thursday 24 April. There will be
further off peak work at this intersection until the end of
May so be prepared for delays. Drivers will not be able to
cross Bealey Ave at Manchester
St.
THANKS
Thanks to
everyone for being patient as SCIRT crews make progress
city-wide, and to everyone who continues to go the extra
mile to support their local
retailers.
