The Coffee Club Brings More Choice to Food And Coffee Loving Aucklanders with the Opening of the Coffee Club Mission Bay
Aucklanders looking for quality, good value food and coffee now have more options than ever before. On Thursday 17 April, The Coffee Club New Zealand will open the doors to The Coffee Club Mission Bay.
Fully licensed, the café offers a large range of hot and cold drinks, along with breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The Mission Bay location will be open from 7am – 10pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 10pm on Saturdays and7:30am – 8pm on Sundays.
“It will extend the range of food and drink available in Mission Bay and the surrounding suburbs,” says Andy Lucas, co-director of The Coffee Club New Zealand. “The Mission Bay café is a lovely, modern space with a great view overlooking the beach. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends and family, whether it is for a quick caffeine fix or a relaxed brunch or dinner.”
For the new owners, Amit Chatrath and Amit Luthra, a combined passion for meeting new people, the café culture and a love of food led to the decision to join The Coffee Club group.
“I’m very much a people person,” says Amit Chatrath who will run front of house at The Coffee Club Mission Bay. “I love meeting new people and interacting with customers. I was always accused of talking too much on my report card at school!” While Amit Chatrath deals with front of house, Amit Luthra will be in charge of the kitchen. “Cooking is my passion. If I’m not cooking I’ll be watching food TV. I’ve always wanted to run a restaurant or café.”
The business partners who have been friends since childhood are also determined to be a valuable asset to the Mission Bay community. “We are keen to support the local community in any way we can, be it through sponsorship of schools, sports clubs, RSA’s, offering employment opportunities for locals or any other means.”
The Coffee Club stores can be found throughout both the North and South Islands.
The Coffee Club Mission Bay will be offering free cupcakes to all customers on Thursday, 17 April to celebrate opening day.
The café can be found at 49 Tamaki Drive, Auckland and can be contacted on 09 5780299, tccmissionbay@gmail.com or through their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/TheCoffeeClubMissionBay.
