Kapiti Food Fair 2014 opens for vendor registrations

Kapiti Food Fair 2014 opens for vendor registrations

Proudly Sponsored by ANZ Paraparaumu

The Kapiti Food Fair 2014 is open for vendor registrations. Like in previous years, there will be ready to eat food, value add products & food related goods. “Last year we had 103 sites, in 2012 we had 67, so we are hoping for 100+ sites again as the Fair continues to position itself in the annual event calendar for Kapiti,” says Helene Judge, Committee Spokesperson.

Helene goes on to say that “vendors have told us they will be back in 2014 as their trade was good and they liked the atmosphere and Kapiti as a destination.” The Fair will run the day before the popular Thorndon Fair in Wellington as a number of vendors are influenced to attend particularly if they are from out of the region and they are registered to be at the Thorndon Fair.

We are also thrilled as ANZ Paraparaumu have agreed to continue being the principal sponsor. Diane Hogg and her team do a marvelous job representing ANZ as a community bank and they run the on-site Eftpos facility at the Fair.

The date for the Fair is Saturday 6th December 2014 at Lindale – note your calendar now and tell all your friends, family and colleagues to come for a great gastronomic day out.

Whitireia Polytechnic & Mitre 10 MEGA Kapiti will again host a BBQ cook off and the entertainment programme is shaping up nicely behind the scenes.

Previous Fairs have attracted vendors selling a variety of artisan and commercial food and beverages including chocolate, sweets, jam & condiments, sauces & dressings, dips & pesto, preserves, breads, baking, wines, beer, liqueurs, fruit juices, olive oils, ice cream, coffee, meat, honey, fruit & vegetables and a variety of ethnic foods. 2014 will be no exception to this.
