Plan ahead for the Royal Visit
You will need to plan ahead for the Royal Visit. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting Wynyard Quarter and Team NZ headquarters from around midday on Friday 11 April.
There will be some road closures, parking restrictions and changes to public transport around the Auckland waterfront.
For those intending to welcome the Royal Couple it is advisable to use public transport as there will be no vehicle access or parking in the area.
Normal timetables will operate on bus, train and ferry. Plan ahead and check services by using the Journey Planner: https://at.govt.nz/bus-train-ferry/events/royal-visit-2014/
Britomart Transport Centre and the Downtown Ferry Terminal are only a short walk from Wynyard Quarter via Quay St and the Viaduct Harbour.
