The City is Ours concurs with Her Majesty's representative
PRESS-RELEASE: The City is Ours concurs with Her Majesty's representative.
On the occasion of
the Royal visit by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and
their son Prince George, and after being questioned by the
Wellington Police on his intentions during the Royal visit;
Benjamin Easton, as representative of Her Majesty's Tribe,
in an attempt to highlight injustices in New Zealand society
started what he referred to as 'a 10 day starvation diet' on
Sunday the 6th of April in the grounds of the Anglican
Church in Molesworth Street, Wellington.
The City is Ours Inc. and long time campaigners for justice in Manners and Willis Street support his actions while local authorities charged with safety at planning neglected their own by-law so implicating the Crown through the Local Government Act in section 153/3. The City is Ours President concurs while the rule of law was absent from, during and after construction of the Golden Mile Plan; the Crown needs to urgently take responsibility for serious injuries and death to Her Majesty's subjects.
In a show of solidarity and to honour Her Majesty's integrity during the Royal visit; members of the City is Ours intend to deliver a token gesture on Wednesday the 9th of April at 11:00 a.m. to Mr. Easton; by way of the shirt he wore during the sledgehammer attack on Victoria/Manners Street intersection in 2010.
