Library feedback forums next week
Details of how the Queenstown Lakes District Council could deliver future library services will be released at two community forums next week.
Mayor Vanessa van Uden said the Library Taskforce had made a series of recommendations to the Council.
“We want to test these recommendations with the community before they go to the Council for final consideration. If something significant has been missed, then this is the time to identify that.” Mayor van Uden said she hoped that all the people who have shared their ideas on library services over the last three months would come to hear what had evolved.
The forums will be at the Queenstown Memorial Centre on Wednesday 19 March, 6.30pm and the Lake Wanaka Centre on Thursday 20 March, 6.30pm.
