SH2 Te Puke night time road resurfacing work starts this Sunday
Motorists travelling along State Highway 2 (SH2) through Te Puke are advised that due to road resurfacing works
being undertaken at the north end of Te Puketownship between Atuaroa Avenue and Oroua Street, a stop/go manual traffic
operation will be in place from this Sunday night, for a week.
The night time works will start on Sunday from 7.00pm and continue until Thursday 13 March, finishing at 6.30am each
morning, says the Transport Agency.
Motorists are advised to keep to the posted 30 km/h temporary speed limit. These works form part of the Transport
Agency’s annual maintenance work to ensure the road pavement at this location is kept strong to carry heavy traffic over
the next 10-20 years.
The Transport Agency would like to apologise to motorists for any inconvenience and thanks them for their patience while
this important work is being undertaken.
