Construction brought forward on Raglan office and library

26 February 2014

Media advisory: Construction brought forward on Council’s Raglan office and library

Construction on Waikato District Council’s Raglan office and library is to commence one week earlier than planned.

Council is keen to take advantage of the fine weather and with the contractor able to begin works sooner, construction will now begin Monday 10 March, as opposed to Monday 17 March.

This start date will not affect the Raglan team’s move to the temporary premises, which will still occur from 5pm Thursday 6 March, with services resuming from 9am 17 March at 39 Bow Street (the former New Zealand Post shop).

Customers are asked to take care of any urgent Council business or books before the close down period, or are welcome to visit one of Council’s other offices.

For more information on the project please see: www.waikatodistrict.govt.nz/News-events/Media-releases/Council’s-Raglan-library-and-office-to-move-as-ren.aspx and for any queries around the construction, please contact Waikato District Council Programme Delivery Team Leader, Grant Tregidga on 07 824 5766.
