SCIRT traffic update, weekend starting 21 February, 2014

Brougham St, Sydenham, night and weekend work starts
If you are travelling through Sydenham on Brougham St this weekend, be prepared to slow down.

• Work starts Friday night, 6 pm, 21 February and runs through to 6 am Monday, 24 February.
• From Hawdon St east, Brougham will be down to one lane, reopening to two lanes at the intersection with Gasson/Burlington Streets.
• This is the beginning of two months of infrastructure piping and road repairs by SCIRT’s Fulton Hogan team on Brougham St and intersecting streets from Antigua/ Strickland Streets to beyond Waltham Road.

Timing – weekends and nights
Work on Brougham Street will be done over the weekends, Friday night to Monday 6am and also night shifts, 7pm to 6am, Sunday through to Friday.

Montreal and Orbell Streets – daytime work to come
Work will take place during the day with Montreal St reduced to one lane and a detour in place for Orbell St.

• Fulton Hogan will keep businesses up to date during the work.

Durham St between St Asaph and Bath – lane reductions
Bealey Ave - one week lane drop east bound, past Southern Cross Hospital - Access to the Southern Cross Hospital will remain off Durham St North and Bealey Ave.


South-east side of the city
