Biggest Bargain Basement Book Sale in the City Library Car Park
Dunedin (Tuesday, 11 February 2014) – From 4pm on Friday 21 February until 3pm
on Sunday 23 February, the Dunedin City Library car park will be filled to capacity with books, CDs, DVDs and magazines at bargain basement prices.
The Library’s Book Sale is its biggest annual event, giving book lovers, collectors and bargain-hunters a chance to pick up some treasures. The sale helps to create some much-needed space on the Library’s shelves for new books, music and movies, and is hugely popular with people from all over the region.
The sale runs every day of the weekend, from 4pm-8pm on Friday, 10am-4pm on
Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sunday.
So, whether you’re a family looking for a good read, a school librarian looking to boost your collection, or a bibliophile looking for a real find, bring your bags and shop till you drop. If you’re in it for the long-haul, there’s a sausage sizzle to keep you going all day!
