The hugely popular week of skateboarding infused culture known as ‘Festival of the Skateboard’, celebrated on Thursday night (14th Feb) the Manual Magazine Presents: 2013 New Zealand Skater of the Year Awards Party.

The highly anticipated competition will be kicking off on Saturday (tomorrow), February 1st at 1:30pm. With the competition drawing some of the biggest names in skateboarding, fans are looking forward to a tough and thrilling battle for an overall prize pool of an impressive A$20,000.

WHO: The PRO division is one of the strongest ever assembled, with a list of riders including Pedro Barros, Bowman Hansen, Otavio Neto, Nolan Monroe, James McInnes, Matt Fenton, Felipe Foguinho, Nilo Pecanha, Sky Siljeg, Rob Lorifice, , Alex Sorgente, Jackson Pilz and Jesse Noonan,

The Masters Division of extraordinary talent will feature Jason Parks, Leigh McKenzie, Nick Bennett, Mike Spittlehouse, Brian Patch, Steve Crump, Sean Goff, Lester Kasai, Pat Ngoho and Sergie Ventura.
