Creative Communities funding round opens 10 February
Are you planning an arts activity and looking for funding?
Hutt City Council’s Creative Communities Funding Scheme is accepting applications from Monday 10 February from people planning arts projects in the Hutt Valley.
Creative Communities funding is to support people to get involved in the arts; whether that’s music, theatre, festivals, mural painting, outdoor sculptures and art in public spaces, kapa haka, singing or art workshops. We are seeking art projects with broad community involvement, projects involving young people or projects that support the diverse arts and cultural traditions of local communities.
Projects the have been funded before by Creative Communities include exhibitions, concerts, workshops, festivals, plays and mural projects.
Hutt City Council staff will be running information sessions about the Creative Communities funding, so you can learn about eligibility and how to write a good application.
