Fulton Hogan appoints Executive Manager for Christchurch Rebuild
Leading civil and resources contractor Fulton Hogan has established a new strategic leadership role of Executive Manager
– Christchurch Rebuild.
The new appointee is Tony Gallagher a Chartered Professional Engineer with 25 years experience in the construction
industry, including the past 18 years with Fulton Hogan across an array of senior positions, in both the North and South
Islands.
Fulton Hogan’s Chief Operating Officer – Infrastructure, Robert Jones said that Tony Gallagher knows the Christchurch
market extremely well.
Mr Gallagher’s experience includes managing the Company’s regional business, project managing NZTA’s Christchurch
Southern Motorway and providing strong leadership during the establishment of the $2.4bn Christchurch Infrastructure
Alliance better known as SCIRT, where until recently he has been Delivery Manager.
“Tony’s appointment allows Fulton Hogan to dedicate a senior executive 100 per cent to the needs of our Christchurch
customers and the challenges of the rebuild.
“His experience and knowledge of Fulton Hogan capabilities, our people and our customers makes him the ideal person to
drive and govern our efforts to provide the best outcomes for our customers and the community in Christchurch,” Mr Jones
said.
