Big book sale at the Havelock North Function Centre
Friends of the Hastings District Libraries are holding a big, two day book sale at the Havelock North Function Centre on Friday 7 February from 9am to 5pm & Saturday 8 February from 10am to 4pm.
Do you enjoy spending time relaxing in the library, curled up on a couch or comfy window seat? Read the notices on the community noticeboard to see what is going on or spend time with your preschoolers in the children’s areas?
If so, chances are you have used an item funded by the Friends of the Libraries book sales.
“The profits of the book sales are used to purchase items for public use at the district libraries,” says Paula Murdoch, District Libraries Manager.
“It has been over a year since the Friends held a book sale in Havelock North and this one is at the Function Centre, right next door to the Havelock North Library.
“Havelock North residents are in for a real treat with bargains galore. I recommend you bring your own carry bag because you will find some great bargains.”
