Adventure Course For Blind Or Partially Sighted
Outward Bound has spaces open for their eight-day Insight course for blind or partially sighted people aged over 18. The course commences Saturday, 15 February in Queen Charlotte Sound.
All participants must be able to participate in a full day's activity, including walking for a full day, be able to attend without their carer or guide dog (personal cane ok), be a team player and have experience away from home. Participants must also be comfortable in and around water wearing a life jacket.
Insight is run in association with the Royal NZ Foundation of the Blind once every two years. The subsidised course fee is $500 plus return travel to Picton and medical costs incurred for registration.
