Quad Bike accident in the Marlborough Sounds

Life Flight transports a Patient from a Quad Bike accident in the Marlborough Sounds
At 12:30pm today 22/112/2013 Life Flight was sent to a Quad bike accident in the Marlborough Sounds
Life Flight responded in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic onboard.
A girl who had been on the back of a Quad Bike fell off and suffered head injuries.
The Helicopter was able to land nearby the patients location.
The girl was assessed and treated by the Paramedic and then flown to the Wairau Hospital Emergency department for further treatment for her injuries.
The Life Flight Trust is a charity providing air rescue and air ambulance services. It operates the Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a nationwide air ambulance service.
