Registrations open for new King of the Hill event

Take a moment now to register at www.kingofthehill.co.nz for Hutt City’s newest summer event – a walk up and over Wainuiomata Hill.

Take a moment now before you’ve been to too many Christmas parties, eaten a touch too much ham and trifle and fear you may never move again.

King of the Hill is a great summer exercise goal. It’s a 5km walk (or run) over the sealed road on the Wainuiomata Hill and while it sounds a bit mad only 2km of that is uphill.

Runners and walkers are welcome – and kids too. Because the road is sealed and wide it’s a great place for a family day out.

King of the Hill is on Sunday 19 January, which is Wellington Anniversary weekend.

As well as a brilliant day out you could be rewarded with cash prizes for The Professionals first female and male home, vouchers from iRIDE and Westfield and spot prizes like a $1000 Air New Zealand travel voucher.

Dress up in costume and there’s even more chance to win.

The inaugural event is limited to 1000 people so don’t miss out – sign up now atwww.kingofthehill.co.nz
