QLDC is seeking community views
on library services in the Queenstown Lakes District as part
of the library services review that will help shape future
service delivery and the Council’s 10-Year Plan.
A survey put together by the Council will allow both library members and non-members to give their feedback on a number of issues including opening hours and the importance of services currently available.
The survey also seeks to find out community attitudes towards possible future services such as 3D printing and the adoption of a user-pays policy – or otherwise – for all or some library services.
QLDC general manager operations Ruth Stokes said that the survey is the first chance of many for people to get involved in the library review process that is all about the Council understanding what the community thinks about its library services and what it would like to see in the future.
The survey can be taken online at http://fluidsurveys.com/surveys/qldc/qldc-library-survey/ and is open until 13 January 2014. Hardcopies of the survey will also be available at all Queenstown Lakes District libraries.
