Christmas Starts Early at City Library

Christmas Starts Early at City Library

Dunedin (Monday, 25 November 2013) – As your little ones open the first door on the Advent calendar on Sunday 1 December, it’s good to know other fun activities are happening that day.

The Christmas countdown starts in earnest at the Dunedin City Library with a festive Once Upon a Christmas storytime in the Children’s area at 2pm.

Kaitrin McMullan and friends’ Christmas visits to the Library have become a tradition over the years and are a treat which often tie in nicely with the annual Santa Parade. You can make a real day of it by calling into the Library to listen to a story, then head off to George Street to watch the parade, which starts at 3pm.

Dunedin City Library is open 11am to 4pm on Sundays, with lots to keep the children entertained before Santa arrives!
