Mystery Character Spotted In Wynyard Quarter
There have been even more rumours since Monday’s discovery of deer droppings in the Wynyard Quarter area, as earlier today television personality Oliver Driver was spotted with an unknown guest.
Eyewitnesses have stated the guest was a rather portly figure, dressed all in red and in unusually warm clothing for the summer months – giving the impression that the character “wasn’t from around these parts”, one local St Mary’s Bay resident said.
The pair spent several hours walking around the Silo Park vicinity with a third person with what appeared to be a set of building plans and a tape measure. “Almost looked like they were sizing up a boundary, pacing around one particular area” another local resident stated. “Whatever this man was doing, it seemed very big – almost felt like they were sizing up a building or some construction.”
When asked about the mystery guest, Oliver Driver was very cool on the exact details of his meeting. “I’m not at liberty to divulge such information especially at such an important juncture”, Driver has revealed, “but I will say this – if it all comes together, this area in December and, in fact, all of Auckland, will have something very special to come and discover during the festive season.”
Waterfront Auckland has declined to comment further on the matter.
