Wainuiomata Pool opens for summer this Saturday
It's time for Wainuiomata residents to dust off their togs and head to the pool, which opens this Saturday 2 November.
On opening day entry to the pool is free. The pool is open from 9am to 6pm.
Recreation Facilities Manager Stephen Keatley said, "Wainuiomata Pool is a great place for families".
It has four heated outdoor pools situated amongst rose gardens and shrub beds and surrounded by native bush. An 80-metre open air waterslide runs down a bush-clad slope making it a great place for kids to burn off energy.
"Add to that barbecues, which are great when the kids get hungry, an adult spa pool and a mini golf course and there really is something for everyone."
Wainuiomata Pool is on Moohan Street in Wainuiomata. Find more information at www.huttcity.govt.nz/pools
